Coaching Boys Into Men, presented by Knowledge Is Power, is a program of Futures Without Violence.
This program helps young men build healthy relationships and prevent violence before it starts. Research shows that 1 in 3 women experience physical or sexual abuse from a partner, and many teens witness or experience violence in their relationships.
Coaches play a unique role in shaping the behavior of young men both on and off the field. Through weekly discussions and activities, CBIM empowers athletes to lead with respect, integrity, and personal responsibility. Athletes, often influential among their peers, can become role models who promote non-violence in their communities.
Since 2001, thousands of coaches worldwide have joined CBIM to guide their teams in fostering respect and healthy relationships. Teams are encouraged to involve parents, faculty, and fans in supporting this positive message.
